I would highly recommend this school to anyone. My daughter is a third generation Dragon and we wouldn't have her going anywhere else! The class size to teacher ratio is wonderful and the staff genuinely cares about their kids.

Mid Buchanan is a GREAT school. My son loves it. He is in 4th grade and has loved all of his teachers. The principal, Ms. Smiddy, is nothing less than amazing. I have a special needs student in this district and love it. Every staff member looks out for my student and works as a team to make sure success is attained. We live in Mid Buch's school district but do not send our kids to this school. This elementary does not offer spelling bees, geography bees and academic teams for the students to participate in. We were told that the elementary principal believes that competition is too stressful for the children! I
