Desoto Sr. High School

St. Rose of Lima has gone through some tough times the last three years, however, there is a bright future ahead. The new administration has been working hard to increase communication, doing fun school-wide activities for the kids, and encouraging parents to get involved any chance they get. The teachers seem much happier than they have been in the past, which is great to see. The kids seem really happy and excited about school. From my experience and from what I've seen, this is a really great school. The principal fought to get the school hallways repainted, which was desperately needed. A lot of the teachers repainted their classrooms, too. It's a HUGE improvement. You can tell these people really care about this school and want to do everything they can to help it grow. I would absolutely recommend checking this school out if you are looking for Christian based education for your children. It's a million times better than public school, in my opinion. There are people who actually care about the kids.
