This is my favorite school, my child has been in SPS and Ava is at least 1 grade above and here they are not just a number.

Terrible. My son has been there for 3 years now and has progressively fallen behind. The teachers have a "there are kids doing worse" attitude and refuse to go outside the box to teach. Literally ready to leave the district because of it. Small town thing is great, unless you LEARN differently, then

I have a niece who went to this school. It was terrible! They said she had a learning disability, but did nothing to help her. They ended up telling her mom that they weren't going to help her. They would just put her in a class(with other students they weren't helping) and teach her "life skills". I also graduated high school here, and had a teacher tell me that if it wasn't my senior year she'd fail me because she didn't like me. I'm not even joking on that. All in all this is a terrible school. If I ever move back that way, I'd home-school my child before putting them in an Ava public school.
