Discovery Community Elementary School

I have had a very positive experience at Madison. They have an excellent Chinese Immersion Program which gives children an advantage in life. The teachers and staff are amazing and they really care about the kids they work with. The school works well with children that need a challenge or are advanced learners. There is a good amount of diversity within the student body which helps teach the children about respecting others and helps them gain a better understanding and appreciation for those that are different from themselves.

The school has been allowing mutiple bullies to bully my step child and emafter several talks with the teacher, Dean of students, counselor, and principal nothing is getting done and it's no progressed to the other child physically and mentally abusing my child. My child was kick in the chest and back and left marks which we have proof of, he spit in her face and said he wont leave her alone and the teacher just pushed her way when telling her what happened, and last because the teacher as been talked to by the school shes now being petty and pushing my child of and not listening to her when she is reporting something like the dean of students, principal, and counselor all told her and us to do. We are feed up with the staff and school district. Absolutely sad they dont care about another child and wont punish the bully or contact there parents.

Sad day at the educators household today All the teachers had a meeting with the bishop today and they were informed that the school will be closing for good the end of may. The funny part about this is that they had to have many open houses for new students and one to day and these new kindergarteners' and preschoolers were so happy and cant wait for next year. 12 new students that their dreams went down the drain. Thank you all saints school staff teachers and Kathy C for many years of great service and dedication. and all the parents for supporting Saint Joseph School AKA all saints academy.
