I am not sure why there academics scores and testing scores are lower in the state. This school does not support child social emotionally, the children are just numbers to the principal. Poor academics and not supporting the children and there growth or if the child may need extra support the principal will be sure that does not happen, especially if your child is of color. He will stop staff from helping your child, it is easier for him to unlawfully suspend your child then try to help them or even provided services to the family!! He will not support at all!!! My child has now been at another school for 4 weeks and his experience is night and day. I really hope the superintendent of the 191 district is really looking into the data of how this principle is treating and responding our children he should not be working in early childhood education nor with children in general specially elementary. Also I would never approve a teacher posting my child on her social media even with there faces blacked out. Very unsafe especially since she shares the exact school she works at.. very very scary!!! Keep you children safe, Do not send to this school!!!!!

My three children had wonderful, enriching experiences at M.W.S! They enjoyed every day of school and left 6th grade with the knowledge, skills and friendships that led to successful junior high years !

I am forever grateful for the community, support, and education we experienced at Vista View! I have been in education for nearly two decades and have never met a better principal and staff. Dr. Pohl, Ms. Tucci, Mrs. Steeg, Mrs. Gandrud, Ms. Houtman, and Ms. Podratz are just an handful of teachers who have made a profound, positive impact on our son’s life. In every grade level he was pushed to work hard and do his best all while having fun. I am blown away by all he has learned. Not only are the academics top notch, but the strong focus on social emotional intelligence is what I truly appreciate. There is a commitment to being respectful learners and building community through kindness. Whenever there as an issue (which honestly was rare) it was handled with compassion and as a learning experience for all. We could not have asked for more! Without hesitation, I would recommend Vista View to any family!

Absolutely horrible school! My kids have been bullied, punched, spit on and they do nothing to stop it! Ever since the switch in principles the school has worsened more and more. My kids don't even like going anymore despite their friends being there. A school is supposed to protect your kids while there and this one definitely does not care! This school and principle should be ashamed!

I’m honestly amazed by this school, my kids are currently here and all teachers and staff very nice and supportive, they succeed my expectations. I am very grateful and will miss them all as my children as well!

We've had nothing but great experiences with every staff member from teachers to bus drivers, school nurse, special subject teachers, and secretary. The principal, Mr. Roberts, has always called me back promptly to address any questions. We've been pleased with their covid response. My daughter has been thriving despite the pandemic.

Wonderful school, with a dedicated and truly loving staff. Jesus Is the center of every day at Life Academy. Would highly recommend this school.
