Obviously all students have a different situation, but we’ve had a great experience at Como. I feel like the remodel has improved the daily feel of the school. There are lots of interesting class choices, and fun activities and sports.

Possibly owing to it's relatively small size, Como has a well developed sense of community. There is something for everyone, and if what you want is not

There are more AP classes (18) at this school than most of the private or public schools in the area. Other honors courses (called accelerated or pre-AP) are also of excellent quality and open to all students
Posted by a parent on 5/13/2011Wow how sad parents don't understand what goes on in the school. Kids fight each other in the hallways. Segregation in the lunch room. Some are homophobic and some most likely to drop out. Public schools are failing our children.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy first grader has cried every day when being dropped off by his sibling since starting this year and when I dropped him off I received no support from the teacher to help get him into class, I questioned him on why he didn't want to go and he said he was being bullied by another student and showed the teacher who was doing it, she said she would watch it and that was it.
