My kids loved going to Riverside Elementary. The teachers and staff are passionate for teaching and the well-being of the kids.
Posted by a parent on 7/6/2020Should be negative stars!!!! This school has a horrible reputation for treating kids as "guilty until proven innocent". They scare kids into being silent and if they do tell their side, the school will still punish them even if innocent. I am appalled that a public school can get away with treating

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving had kids in the public schools in Rochester, and switching to St. John's, we were delighted with the level of discipline and learning that happened at St. Johns. It was exactly what we wanted for our child's education. Quite honestly, the difference was stunning. As the other middle schools in Rochester seemed to be in chaos, with little or no learning, and lots of fights and theft happening, all of that noise disappeared at St. Johns. The administration is excellent, demanding, and fair.
