Read what parents are saying about John Adams Middle SchoolWorst school ever! My daughter attended half of 6th grade because we pulled her out cause of the bullying. She had half of her grade come after her and try to kill her. She is so emotionally damaged she refuses to step into another school so she does home school. The kids forced her to inappropriate words because they knew she has severe anxiety and OCD so she’s vulnerable. The principal wanted her to write an apology note to the whole school and then blamed us for her inappropriate words. Horrible!
Posted by a parent on 8/11/2023My son is loving middle school. He is challenged in his learning, making new friends, and he feels very supported by his teachers. He has really enjoyed orchestra, art, and PE class this year along with the core subjects.
Posted by a parent on 5/20/2023This school is HORRIBLE!!! I have had 3 children go through there and thankfully the last one one went for part of the 6th grade. It is one of the worst schools I have ever seen! I can attest to what the students say about bullying and the staff not caring or being able to control the kids. One of the students punched one of the staff so hard it broke her jaw! Keep your kids away from this school at all costs!!
Posted by a parent on 9/22/2022I am a former student from John Adams. I went there for 7th and 8th grade (2013-2015). I absolutely hated attending this school. When I was in 7th grade a student tried to kill himself by jumping off the north stairwell. The current principal is the same one I had, and she was also my principal when I was in elementary school at gage. The administrative staff are extremely rude and refuse to help students most of the time. I honestly believed they just didn't care about their students, which wouldn't surprise me one bit. I was bullied almost every day I attended that school. There were multiple fist fights between students almost every passing period between classes. I'd get slammed into lockers by students I didn't even know. People would trip me as I was going down the stairs so I'd fall and knock everyone in front of me over as well and I'd get sent to the office like it was my fault. This school is hell on earth. From what I've heard from my friends who have siblings that still go here, the issues are only getting worse as the years progress.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageit is amazing. it has a redicusly low amount of bully's. the staff are supportive of students. in the districts rating it has always being in the top two elementary schools. its also a fairly small school being a neighborhood school. the neighborhoods are very nice so most of the students are pretty wealthy.i would highly recommened this school.Parent Review2y ago - Elton Hills Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageResurrection school has been a blessing for our family. We love that we know the families of the children who our kids go to school with and consider a lot of them our friends. The staff and principal are always working hard to make sure that they offer the best they can to their students, through their education and getting to know the kids and families on a personal level. There are many sport options, school plays, before/after school care and they are always looking at how to add more when they can.Parent Review1mo ago - Rochester Central Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChoosing RCLS is one of the best choices we have made. Setting a solid foundation for the learning path and developing love for learning is critical for children. It's only our first school year with RCLS, but we truly believe our kids will build excellent curriculum and character. In my opinion, it is a school that prides itself, along with excellent teachers, staff, and leadership. I have already seen excellence on many levels, especially during this pandemic year (2020). There are several things to love about RCLS, but the one thing is faith based learning, which helps to build character. Next year, we are hoping to get my 2nd kid enrolled in pre-K. As a parent, I know that my kids will not only receive one of the best educations but also learn how to be good students, stewards and children of faith.Parent Review3y ago
