My daughter loves her school and has not had any problems there! When my son was bullied, they took care of it right away.

This school has been a nightmare. My child was not punished according to their school policies, and I wasn't informed until after the incident and punishment was given. At least 3+ staff members here have been either inappropriate with my children or used power to punish and bully my kids and others. I even talked to multiple principals, who refused to do anything about it. Also, even the district board doesn't return calls or emails. My child refused to go here from the treatment, and we homeschooled her.

The teachers in this school are fantastic! They care so much about the students and do everything they can to help them succeed! My daughter started kindergarten during the pandemic and she now reads 2nd grade literature on her own in first grade, despite only having a few months of in school instruction. The school really gave us 110%. I always felt that she was safe and cared for every day!

Zachary Lane Elementary (ZLE) has fantastic teachers and administration committed to their students excelling in the classroom and as individuals.The families that attend ZLE have a great sense community and are very supportive of the school.The children are excited and motivated to come to school each day! I highly recommend ZLE!

I love all of the teachers and parents I have gotten to know over the years, but have been very disappointed with some of the administrative staff. As stated in one of the other parent reviews - bullying is a problem. My child has also been bullied, but no effective action has ever been taken. Each occurrence was treated as a non-issue in my opinion. As well, a few of the main office employees seem to lack common courtesies. And lastly, I do not think (most of) the children are being challenged and pushed to their potential academic and other abilities. I had very high expectations for this school but have been disappointed.
