We had children at Washington for 8 years. The teachers have been great. For the vast majority of them, when our kids had trouble with classwork or social/emotional situations, they helped us come up with a plan to move through. The reading program is amazing. Kids are all able to move at thier own
Posted by a parent on 4/5/2021Terribly disappointing. There is shocking rudeness from the reception desk right up to the principal and the building is woefully ancient, cluttered and grimy.
Posted by a parent on 3/13/2018The staff here really take the time to get to know the students. Not just the teachers, but the cooks, janitors, and the office staff as well. It is really nice to see them taking an interest in the students lives.

The teacher's that she has had have been fabulous, I can't speak for the other teachers since I do not know but so far so good! I also seen the principal playing hopscotch one morning with some kids!

They offer smaller and larger classes depending on social skills and goals. The regular updates they provide is absolutely amazing as communication is key to any child's development! The learning itself is very fun and active while helping kids to learn independence along with safe boundaries. Our child is medically complex and they handled it with no problems, they made everything a cake walk.
