Levi P. Dodge Middle School

FES is a great school overall. The teachers are great and really care about the students. The music and art teachers are the best I have ever seen. The school counselor is wonderful and really helps students when they are having a difficult time and teaching the students anti bulling etc. The office staff is wonderful and caring. The principal Ben Loves all the kids and is very helpful and will go out of his way for you. FES is a family not just a school. The teachers and staff put your children first and teach them academically as well as great social skills. This is a school where the staff and students care and respect each other and even will hug daily.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way the teacher and staff treat center-based kids at this school. There is clear discrimination happening, and it's heartbreaking. Rather than offering emotional support to students in need, the staff often respond by yelling, which only escalates the situation and leaves the children feeling more distressed.It's also troubling to see that teachers and paraprofessionals seem to pick and choose which students they want to support. Some children are mocked or purposely provoked, which is completely unacceptable in any learning environment.What’s even more concerning is that the principal, Tracy, appears to allow this behavior to continue without taking action. It feels like the well-being of the students is not a priority, and that it's more about the paycheck than providing a safe, supportive environment.All students deserve compassion, respect, and equal support — especially those in center-based programs. I hope this review brings awareness to what’s happening and pushes for real change.

This school welcomed my high school Jr. With open arms

Our son has attended Riverview for three years with two of those years being in the Multi-age program. He we from being at grade level in reading in math when he entered first grade to at a third grade level by the end of the year and at a fourth grade level by the end of second. The teachers are great and I can't say enough good things about the school and program.
