3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, I like Birch Grove. It is most definitely a like, not a love. I have had a total of 3 students of my own with close ties to other families.First, what works well. The arts program is wonderful and does an amazing job supporting the gifts, or even curiosity, of the youth who take interest in various artistic ventures. Through the productions, the students also learn about dedication and seeing things through and that’s great. My largest complaint with BG is that there is not consistency across the board with the many experiences. The experience of the student can vary greatly dependent on what teacher they get or even the relationship they have with a given teacher and that is very concerning. Too much is left to chance. I have the flexibility of being able to physically present at a rate that many parents do not but it has been the only saving grace at times with advocating for my children. This also translates to my experience managing supports within the school as well. This has been crucial in advocating for a child of mine not getting services in accordance with the set or even reasonable timeline. I have another student who navigated special education services as a breeze. Again, highlighting inconsistencies and process gaps that need be addressed.Parent Review9mo ago12 Reviews - Fair Oaks Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school. School leadership is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all students. They are committed to equity and inclusion. Staff genuinely care for students. They support social emotional needs, as they know students need to feel safe and loved in order to learn. I've worked in a number of Osseo elementary schools and can honestly say that this is my favorite.Teacher Review1y ago4 Reviews - Palmer Lake Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter having a child with special needs assigned to Park Brook for preschool, I couldn’t have been happier. In fact, my husband and I decided to transfer our other son from a Christian private school, so he could also experience the fantastic education, culture, and true desire for each and every student to succeed. Park Brook truly strives to meet each child where they are at, and encourages them to be the best version of themselves. The dedication to each student, whether during regular school hours, sponsored weekend activities, before/after school clubs, or in the community is unmatched. The focus on fitness means that all students are not only engaged academically, but given opportunities to move and gain strength through brain breaks, alternative seating, gym time, and out of school hour events. Park Brook balances a child’s need to engage in movement while learning so effectively, the growth seen is unmatched by anywhere else my children have gone to school.Parent Review11mo ago11 Reviews - Zanewood Community School
