Oak Grove Middle School

This school sucks, they don't teach the kids anything, my daughter always comes home with zero homework, and they constantly tell me that she is behind in reading yet they make no effort to make her better at it, so it falls on us to teach her how to do things. We have to literally come up with our own homework just because this school doesnt do it.

This is a very good place to go this is a good place because the teachers are very responsible and nice and respectful to students The school is really awesome I’m definitely sending my kid here

We've had nothing but great experiences with every staff member from teachers to bus drivers, school nurse, special subject teachers, and secretary. The principal, Mr. Roberts, has always called me back promptly to address any questions. We've been pleased with their covid response. My daughter has been thriving despite the pandemic.

Wonderful school, with a dedicated and truly loving staff. Jesus Is the center of every day at Life Academy. Would highly recommend this school.

My son has been attending Nativity from preschool through 5th grade this year, and we plan to have him continue through middle school. Nativity has been a welcoming, kind, and engaging school and community since day one. The teachers are always striving to help our children do their best and truly embody the mission of helping the kids become good humans- or as the mission states “the saints of the future”! My son is challenged academically - nativity students are consistently scoring higher than the average public school student on standardized tests. The teaching and community also strives to teach kids to be leaders and mentors, and my son has many opportunities to show leadership even just as a 5th grader. Nativity recently upgraded its security system and installed cameras and door locks throughout the building- ensuring the campus is safe and secure. There is also a playground expansion that went in this fall 2024. There was a change in leadership recently with the principal and priest changing- the new priest is great and speaks clearly and directly to students- already winning them over! And the new principal and assistant principal were already working at Nativity so they were able to jump right in and get to work. They are keeping the good energy going and have ensured a seamless transition. They are both very approachable and are always willing to chat about any question or concern.
