I was shocked to see Southview rated at 5/10 on this site (7/19/19). This school has provided a fantastic education to my children, and have always had positive feelings toward the staff and leadership at this school. Overall we've had a wonderful experience at Southview Elementary

Posted by a parent on 1/18/2015I have had 2 children go through this school. We have loved all the teachers. They use creative teaching that meets the needs of the child, not what's easy. They have great programs for all children. The new Principle, Ms Heiman is wonderful!

I cannot say enough good things about this school. We have two children who have attended it for the past 5 years and have been very pleased with the caring teachers and the many activities offered. My child has been academically advanced and their teachers have been challenged with keeping up with them, and they have done a wonderful job. My child is excited to attend school each day, and has made many friends at the school. The school provides many community opportunities such as a school carnival, a fun run, playground meetups, monthly food resources, etc. They have the right balance of active play alongside technology resources.
