They have great programs for students that from are low income families, and it's available to ALL students, which greatly helps middle class income homes as well. We personally have been very happy with the school; our child has been attending for a few years now and is excelling in every subject,
Posted by a parent on 1/25/2022Class size is large, lots of extracurricular activities and events for the whole family throughout the year. Also Mr. Hoekstra is an excellent principal. Very glad to have my daughter in this smaller elementary, she is doing great.

If your child has special needs suggest looking for another school district. NO PRE K!!! On a positive note school has some innovative activities to encourage family involvment.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an awesome school, I don't like how the kids have to stand outside when it's freezing out, raining, the kids should be able to go inside when they arrive and go to their classroom. They can't go to a playground so they are running around the parking lot. The teachers are excellent and I would not trade my experience for any other high school. If Christian education is something that is important to you, then you need to look no further than Calvin Christian. As I entered another private university this past year, I felt completely prepared and it was reflected in my grades. Another great aspect of Calvin is their emphasis on student athletes. The extra curricular activities at Calvin are excellent and the coaches that they hire are fully qualified and passionate about their jobs. It is a small enough school that people can participate and try out sports on the freshman and junior varsity level and decide whether or not to continue to the varsity level.Other Review14y ago
