This school does absolutely nothing about the drug problems, the counselors will not give you the help you need, teachers do not care about getting kids interested in learning, most kids do not read at a middle school level, and fights happen nearly everyday, the worst part is that no authority figu
Posted by a community member on 7/8/2026My son went to Adams Middle School for 3 years we were very leery of him going to the school,I'm glad we gave it a chance because my son loved going to school being there loved his teachers my son' got straight A he was on the Honor society, he was in band, he made lots of friends a lot

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnlike the other reviews of this school, we had a very negative experience. The current Principal thinks she is God and doesn't like to listen to any parent or child. She is only involved with the special needs children and just "deals" with the others. My daughter was severely bullied her whole time here and nothing was done about it. I know about a girl who was pushed off a piece of playground equipment by a special needs child (broke he arm requiring surgery) and only a small suspension was given as he was special needs. Most of the teachers, IMO, just want to get through the school year. My daughter rarely had homework. Very little teacher/parent conversations even though I was trying to be involved.
