Lone Pine Elementary School

Both of my daughters went to this school. My oldest is one of the smartest kid in the class, the other students used to set her up for troubles, school admin never do anything about.. most kids have issues at home and lives in different towns but they attend this school cuz its in West Bloomfield!!! Our daughter loves to go to Roosevelt Elementary School! She has been attending this school since 2018. All teachers and staff are so nice, put so much effort into teaching and supporting the kids, and are very appreciated by all kids and parents! The Roosevelt Elementary School is a school of choice and offers STEAM-Programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)! It has also a perfect ESL-Program for kids, whose primary language is not English, and a greatly organized Parent Teacher Organization! All together have done a perfect job during the pandemic! We love this school and can highly recommend it!

We love Doherty! It’s such a tight nit family community where your children will always feel loved and supported. I am so sad that my kids have transitioned out and onto upper elementary but after spending the last 7 years there with all 3 of my children we will always hold wonderful memories of our time there. The teachers are outstanding and the administrators are so helpful and wonderful! It is a great school and we were so happy to be a part of it for many years!

I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience has been with Brookfield Academy! From the moment we enrolled our children, we felt like a part of a caring and supportive community. The teachers are exceptional. They are dedicated, passionate, and truly invested in the success and well-being of each student. They go above and beyond to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity. The curriculum is well-rounded, offering a blend of academics, arts, and physical education, which has helped my child develop a love for learning. I appreciate the emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills, making learning both fun and meaningful. Additionally, the school keeps parents informed through regular newsletters, parent-teacher conferences, and open-door policies. I always feel welcome to reach out to the staff with any questions or concerns. The sense of community is palpable, with numerous events throughout the year that bring families together, such as family nights, school fairs, and volunteer opportunities. It’s heartwarming to see the involvement of both parents and teachers working collaboratively for the benefit of the students. Overall, I highly recommend Brookfield Academy to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child. We are grateful to be a part of such an amazing school!

We cannot sing the praises of Eager Minds Montessori loudly enough! My son Andrew, who just turned 5, is in his second year at the school. We wouldn't have him anywhere else! Ms. Jay and her staff are professional, compassionate, and caring. They even call to check on Andrew when he is sick! Andrew has learned so much during his time at Eager Minds. He started reading at 4 years old, and now reads at a second grade level. Andrew also has excelled in math. He does higher level addition and subtraction, knows some geometry, and even understands multiplication concepts. I am amazed by how much he knows! They also teach other subjects, such as science, geography and social studies. I am pleasantly surprised when he rattles off facts about The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Indian culture, how volcanoes work, and the like. Eager Minds has taught him to be independent and love learning, which are such important skills in today's world. Not only is he soaring academically, Andrew also is excelling socially. He knows his manners better than my older children, he has learned many things in the kitchen (cooking, cutting, etc.), and he understands how to respect his teachers and classmates. These social values will take him far in life. The environment at Eager Minds is like a learning family, and we are so lucky to be a part of it! - Kim B
