Read what parents are saying about Boyd W. Arthurs Middle SchoolThe teachers are very nice and the homework is alright. Most people don’t like it because they are either lazy or something. I remember my first year there and it was great, I already made like 5 friends the first day, but it might not be the same for everyone. Even though, the school is still good, and the school is clean. Sometimes the students ruin the bathrooms on purpose, plebs. The school is overall great in my honest opinion.
Posted by a student on 10/13/2020Right now I am a 7th grader at boyd w. Arthur’s middle school and I love so many of the teachers. People who give bad reviews are just trying to ruin this schools reputation and shame on you by saying bad things about the school. Plus there are a lot of horrible middle schools all over the US and Arthur’s is not one of them.
Posted by a student on 2/12/20200000000000, If I could I would move my kid out of the district but I do love my neighborhood to much to let them beat her down like that.
Posted by a parent on 6/7/2019The curriculum is very weak at the middle school. Parents may be happy because it is so easy for kids to get an A. Then they get to high school and under perform on the ACT and SAT. There is no foreign language or advanced language arts. Advanced math is restricted to a handful of children. The principal is unprofessional, passive aggressive and rude. She wore yoga pants to 6th grade orientation. Taking my child out of the district.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school district has went downhill the past two years, the lack of ethics and leadership is disappointing, the school has failed in following proper Covid protocol s with multiple Covid-19 outbreaks distributing improper information that does not follow the state guidelines. The school district has also falsified the number of online students that are not in school full time to obtain funding, preventing those who qualify for low-income eligibility food programs while learning online from benefits that they would have been received if reported properly for food causing many families to be in despair who depend on the lunch program during the transition in the pandemic.Teaching has also went downhill, unorganized office.Parent Review2y ago - Jesse L. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to k-2nd at Hedke and I cannot say enough good stuff about this school. The teachers communicate with parents. The principal cares and it shows. Any concerns I had were quickly addressed. They have an amazing relationship with their students and we loved it. The only reason he’s not there anymore is that we moved.Parent Review2y ago - St Joseph Elementary School
