Farber Hebrew Day School

I don’t recommend this school for the parents, rude teachers and people are there especially for the other races!

Previously I had thought highly of Country Day primarily due to its reputation for high academics. After an encounter with one of the schools sports teams in which much of the team’s actions showed extremely poor sportsmanship, I no longer hold Country Day in high regard. While the student’s behavior was poor, I was personally more appalled that no Country Day affiliated adult did or said anything about it which leads me to believe poor sportsmanship may actually be encouraged through their community.

We are a first-year family at Southfield Christian, and we were embraced before our first day. Parents befriended us when our son's previous school's basketball team played SCS' 5th grade squad. That was our first experience with the community. The sincerity and attunement to whole-child development we witnessed then extended to our child's enrollment. He feels safe, seen and respected. His love of the Lord is growing, and we are enjoying watching him mature.
