This school will not care at all about your concerns as a parent. You can only be involved if you don't work. They have grown in diversity but not in inclusion. If you have a child that needs support or special Ed, forget it they will try their hardest not to help.
Posted by a parent on 3/20/2026Parent envolvement is a privilege. Friendliness is rare. Emotional support and follow-up for situations is deficient. Not great diversity, no cultural sensitivity and knowledge.

The school is run by the PTA essentially not the staff or administration. There is zero social/ emotional support for children. There are no protocols or procedures in place for any child
Posted by a parent on 12/21/2023My child will begin attending Sayre this fall, so my experience has been entirely based on our kindergarten orientation, where I met the K teachers and principal. I was thoroughly impressed with how well and how respectfully the principal could communicate with the children at their level.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children currently enrolled at Bartlett. I am very pleased with their academic achievements. They both are progressing well in each subject, enjoy friendships and their teachers. I do not hear frequent complaining from faculty in the hallways, etc. I do not see dirty floors, halls, restrooms or classrooms. Any faculty I have spoken to are courteous, helpful, and do not seem to be overwhelmed with their duties. Their teachers appear to genuinely enjoy their work, and while they have made nice comments about my children, they expect them to adhere to classroom rules, etc.Parent Review14y ago - Special Education
