Kids are bullying anther children at this school they need to take m9re into this now not later
Posted by a community member on 2/12/2024My children had a difficult time adjusting when we switched to Fountain. The staff was great. Instead of constant phone calls home and them getting im trouble we worked with the school to get them comfortable. The staff takes their time to make sure every child is comfortable and happy.
Posted by a community member on 1/30/2017The teachers at this school are great. The principal is awesome, he has helped my son who was having trouble with wanting to come to school, we now have no problems.
Posted by a parent on 1/30/2017I do not feel that this school equally cares or deals with all the students the same, the principal Mr. Johnson, can be very rude and unprofessional at times and seems to not really care to deal with certain parents and students.
Posted by a parent on 5/18/2015There are some serious safety issues at this school. My daughter currently atends but I am trying to get her out as soon as possible. When the children get dropped off by the buses in the morning the are expected to stand in line by their doors but they have absolutely NO adult supervision. Who's go

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe transferred our daughters to Eisenhower in the 19-20 school year and although we’re technically out of district (only by a mile) I’m so happy we made the switch. My eldest is now a fifth grader and youngest in second and they both are doing so well here. My eldest has ADHD and every teacher she has had so far has been accommodating as well as compassionate and nurturing towards her. My youngest is also thriving here with teachers that are involved. Their approach to their students isn’t a harsh one with overloading them with homework however still ensuring the students are performing at their best. This is what I hoped for in an elementary school. Mr Tonn is a great principal as well, he’s very welcoming and kind towards both parents and students. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMark Twain is an exemplary school. The principal is always available and informed on all student and teacher matters. She makes time to talk and get to know her students and their parents. Every teach we have had in the last 5 years at Twain has been beyond our dreams as far as attitude and how they teach. I heard horrid stories from parents in other districts during covid shutdown and I could not say enough positive things about out school.
