River Rouge High School HS changed completely! There is lots of new programs. They have web design, band, choir, film, art, TV, sports and advanced placement. as a parent i really like students can take college course for free in dual enrollment.

She enjoys all the clubs that she is involved in because this high school offers them all. I enjoy the fact that they give her a lot of opportunities and she has the chance to grasp them all

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe wish the old principal was there. She did a great job of connecting with us. The office staff is getting out of control especially Miss Nunlee. The principal seems aggressive and out of touch. I believe had it not been for the extra support my kids receive from Ms. Towsend then we would have made the switch. The teachers there are very involved and would email me daily when I felt my son and daughter were not working up to their potential. I almost felt that they cared for my children as much as I did. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been at this school since Kindergarten thru 5 grade. When I say after 2nd grade the teachers I have encountered do not care about attention to details. They over look the students whom need help and just put them off to IXL as if it is enough to undo the years of poor teaching done. I will shoulder some of the blame for not being about to get my child the help needed. I just don’t understand how the teachers can gossip like children and never create an action plan to help a student in need. Rather than bash them to whom ever will listen.
