Scripps Middle School

The school has made a huge improvement in its learning progress. Hiring new administration staff and changing out the principal. My son is in fourth grade now and I am very happy with not only his learning achievements, but also the focus on social and emotional well being.

We’ve loved everything about DK after a combined 10 years with kids there. The educators, staff, and leadership are incredible. Kids are well prepared for middle school. The student body is diverse. Families are welcomed and very involved, and there are so many fun activities throughout the year. Grateful to have such a great school close to home.

My children received an excellent education at this school. The teachers are well trained and truly care about their students. My children also have a strong biblical foundation that I have not seen anywhere else. The school is small, but the kids form life long friendships and get more attention from teachers. You have to attend church regularly and be able to agree to their belief statements ( so that you know what they will be teaching your kids). There ACT scores are in the high to mid 20's. All around I loved having my kids here.

I have children in the preschool, elementary school, and middle school, and truly I believe there isn't a better school out there. We used to have our kids at a local public school, and I would never badmouth them, because they have to be true to their purpose and mission, but the teachers, families, and leadership of St. Joseph school are truly special, exceptional, and a cut above - academically, socially, and of course spiritually.
