Posted by a teacher on 3/9/2020Great school. I don't always love the teachers, but overall I feel they want me to succeed. I am on the swim team and in the 8th grade orchestra, two programs that aren't common in most schools. All of the staff cares alot and definitely prep us for high school. Proud to be a VIking!
Posted by a community member on 3/28/2017My grand daughters attended this school, and as a teacher I felt they received a good middle school education. The Math and Science classes prepared them for a smooth transition into high school. I was also impressed with the community service hours.

It's where my boy goes, and he really likes it. Good Principal, good counselors.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdams elementary used to be one of the best and most competitive school in Midland. However it’s quality of education has dropped substantially in recent years. Hopefully the new principal with teachers would be able to bring back the passion& love & responsibility to teach the kids. There seem more unqualified teachers in the school & also lack effective commutation channels between school/teacher & parents. Wish the best for Adams.Parent Review1mo ago - Chestnut Hill School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is one those schools who relied on past experience to show that it is the same school. It has had an influx of young teachers that has brought down the overall experience. They lost that mentoring approach with young teachers. My children has had several teachers in the school. The average years of experience between the teachers averaging less than ten years each. With over half of them with less three years each. I was told that one of the teachers that they just brought in mid year 2020-2021 school year has been at three different schools in three years. I am still trying to figure out their specials teachers. They seem to be switched out year to year. Art, Music, band, language arts. The library, gym and cafeteria are new, the rest of the build does show it's age.Other Review2y ago - Plymouth Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have a first grader at Plymouth Elementary. We have nothing but good things to say about our experiences there. The teachers he has had to date have been wonderful and because this is a Title one school they have additional monies to place extra help in the classrooms and to assist with any difficulties each individual student may be having.Parent Review9y ago - Siebert School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school caters to Midlands Elite and sees everyone else as second class citizens. There is no support for special needs, students of color, LGBTQ or students who are getting bullied. If you're child gets bullied by a kid who is considered "Midlands Elite", good luck getting any kind of resolution until its too late. You can focus in test scores all you want but if you want a mentally healthy child, look elsewhere.Other Review2y ago - St John's Lutheran School
