For some reason the school doesn't think kids need to go. Looks to be lazy teachers and terrible leadership. Mattawans Schools are in need of a complete over haul in their Schools and Teachers. This school is uppity, and if you do not have money, you may as well forget being treated with any respect by anyone. The School system needs to limit the School of Choice ( which is legal to do ). This is an overall bad school there are extremely unplanned classes low budgets result in very full classes almost no one on one help. There is no help for kids who aren't close with the staff. Kids are always complaining and the deans are always twisting words and making things worse that they are.

School has no due process and targets children with disabilities. My children used to love school but dread having to go now. The principal is non responsive as well and pushed issues off onto the Social worker with absolutely no follow up. My son also had an ice chunk thrown at his face but due to lack of supervision went all day with a huge bruise on his cheek and concussion without me being contacted at all. Go to Paw Paw instead of you are considering between the two.
