Read what parents are saying about Eastern High SchoolAmazing teachers. I'm a junior and I've had a great experience with Eastern so far
Posted by a student on 9/7/2015I am a 7th grader at eastern honestly at the beginning of the year I was scared but now I am just fine because I feel safe from the high schoolers in our own 7th 8th grade hallway. The teachers are great The staff is breathing always having a positive attitude about just about everything. Most teachers stay after school to give extra help to students. I just love eastern high school and am a big fan. GOOD WORK QUUAAAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by a teacher on 6/25/2015Came from small Catholic school. Eastern has a lot to offer for an inner city school. 2+2+2 program a Godsend. The AP/IB program includes a diverse cirriculum. There are several languages taught, a wide variety of electives available and a diverse group if people who seem to get along.
Posted by a parent on 5/28/2014I think Eastern is a great school has a mix of all different nationalities and it's great for kids to get exposure to different ways of life.
Posted by a parent on 12/12/2013I go to Eastern and i love it! the teachers are really motivated and commited, we have great classes to choose from, and the IB program is great. Don't listen to all the horrible completely untrrue rumors. One of the nicest things about Eastern is you dont have to worry about "fitting in" as long as you have a positive attitude, you'll do just fine!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePros: More diversity than you would expect in EL + they seem to serve kids with special needs well. Cons: My kids are not special needs, and are not challenged. RE: bullying: I have seen some teachers coddle bullies. I get some kids bully bc of tough home life, but they must find balance between compassionate caring without enabling. ps. There is a comment earlier in here about white bullies. The bullies my kids have face were not white, so a different experience with that, I guess.Parent Review6y ago - Mid-Michigan Leadership Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving my two kids go to resurrection school over the last 4 years has been a great experience. All of the teachers are very good and care about the kids quite a bit. My kids come home from school well-behaved and with lots of good stories. The way the principal and the pastor are so involved with each kid builds up their confidence in communicating with Adults. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better elemetary school experience for my kids.Parent Review4y ago
