I think the staff there are very nice. My daughter is in special ed pre-k and the teacher Mrs. Adams is a saint. She really connects with kids and makes me feel comfortable leaving my little girl with her. The principal was very nice and listened to my concerns.

I and my family have been to both large and small schools and have never been to such a poorly run school as Kalkaska Middle School. When bullying is coming from the principal down and not taken care of there is a real problem. If I had a choice to do it all over again...I would rather home school my child or send them to another middle school. The leadership and teaching staff totally needs to be revamped and should think of the students FIRST.
