My children have had great experiences at HPJH. They have an administrative staff they can depend on 100%. The school's tolerance to fights and nonsense is decreasing greatly. Consequences are followed through for bad behavior and awesome rewards are given for great behavior. The teachers truly care
Posted by a parent on 3/21/2019my school is know world wide I will be going to one of the top 10 high schools in the country next year and I use to live in hazel park now I'm in berkley and I knew how it was those schools are bad dont ever take ur kids there they will be behind every other school trust me

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHello, Current parent i would not recommend Hazel park district at all every day there are new policies being put into place without it being documented they target students from a certain demographic they force kids to play with each other supporting emotional distress on kids what they say goes because its their district and they can do as please constantly having to advocate for my child to be treated as a human being nothing gets done admin over steps their boundaries getting in kids faces yelling at them in order to get anything done you have to contact super which even then that does nothing.. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS DISTRICT THEY HAVE THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS OFF FOR A REASON I WILL BE PULLING MY CHILD FROM THIS DISTRICT BEFORE IT ESCALATES!!!!!
