They hired all parents of kids as “teachers” who don’t even have teaching certificates yet. The relationship with the church is abysmal and nearly non-existent in daily school life. All clubs and events are ran by the same group of people who dislike outsider input very much. The principal is hardly ever at school, and when she is she shows up extremely late, blasts out 4 emails in one day of the week all about nonsense or what she forgot in the initial email, and then goes home and doesn’t support the kids in any of the extra activities offered by the school or community. Teachers do not put grades in timely and their grading scales are all DRASTICALLY different depending on the class. Discipline is drastically different for kids depending on if your mom works at the school or not. Children are ill prepared for continuing on after SJS and any kid who does well does so in spite of going here, not because of the support and skills they got while there.
