Edison Elementary School

There are many reasons why I love Landmark Academy. My son attended here K-8, and I found it to be a very nurturing environment which helped him to develop confidence in his learning style. This was a great bedrock for him in life and I still see how he refers back to it as an adult. The staff was attentive, supportive and we loved being a part of this community; so much so, that I am now a staff member. I love the way we all collaborate together and make a difference in every child, every day.

This school picks and chooses their favorites. Principle has no control over students. Kids are always bullied by staff as well as peers. The only child that gets disciplined is the child that was bullied! What's up with that? Why is the child causing the problem not being disciplined? Do better Garfield! Start by removing that awful principle!

Some of the most annoying teachers let's put it at that

The school is very overcrowded. They need a bigger school. I feel my son’s not getting the attention that he needs and would really like to get him into a different school, but due to his behavioral issues are ready. No other school will let me transfer him so now we’re thinking about moving just so we can get him into a different school. My daughter will be attending next year, but I definitely do not want her attending Keewadin.

The community surrounding this school is great. When the school has functions, all family members are welcome. Families are met with cheerful greetings and positive attitudes. Most teachers are loved by their students. Most teachers are helpful in figuring out how to best meet your Child's needs. I have experienced that there are few children who act out and severely hinder the learning environment for other students.
