The feeling of community we’ve experienced as part of Ferndale Schools has been incredible. Parental involvement is very high, and school involvement in community events only strengthens the bond. I’m thrilled with every aspect of my kids’ education at Ferndale Lower.

I think like many other schools in the area, there is a concern around teaching staff being more diverse. I think there are lots of parents who are naturally more involved but

There's also a lot of half days and off days, very inconvenient for working parents. I'm currently looking for a better school for my son to attend. It's not

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't say enough great things about Key Elementary school. We moved here from Florida about 3 years ago where my kids attended a private school. I was worried about if my kids would thrive at a new school, 1,000 miles from home! Well, they are thriving and they love their school. Their grades are great and their teachers are excellent. I can't say enough great things about the administration, Ms. Shana Murphy is an excellent principal who takes the time to know all her students (by name) and their parents!
