Posted by a parent on 5/4/2023I am a 7th grade student that attends Power Middle school. The Family Engagement, Special Education, and Teaching aren't a problem. Though, there were many fights in 2022, I feel we have progressed as a school in maturity. Many more students would be happy to learn if classes where like they are in my 7th grade class right now. In Science we have experiments a lot and in History we have fun activities to learn about Ancient empires. The only thing I would seriously change is the emotional support. Students seem to be apathetic to other students feelings, letting mean words fly around school. After that problem is fixed, I feel that Power will be the ultimate school.
Posted by a student on 3/8/2023in the classroom its okay but the bathrooms are never cleaned,Homework well they gives lots of it. the teachers are nice some are mean,Like some teachers give bad dirctions and then blame it on you. There food is so bad i dont even eat it power if your seeing this please change this and make better food,There is also not any lunch ladies there is two and teachers have to come in and help bus drivers also have to help.so far in 2021 I have seen 7 fights 7! Bullying is a big thing too there is lots of bullying that lead to fights

Teachers are smart, fun, and compassionate. A sense of community has been created here, which makes me proud whenever I attend one of the many academic or social events. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCountry Hills Montessori is such an amazing school. Ms. Tanya and her staff are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. My son had speech delay, and the patience, support, positive affirmation that he received was great. He is thriving, and language is his favorite subject in school now. Country Hills provided education in various ways, and they have many different in school field trips that are creative and educational. The safety and health that Country Hills Montessori provide is wonderful and proficient. There are sinks in the classroom which i appreciate, because the children are taught the importance of good hygiene. They are also responsible for cleaning up after themselves, which teaches them organization skills as well. I appreciate the safety and security that the school has for the students and parents. The use of the brightwheel app allows the staff to communicate with parents immediately, and send pictures of your child to you throughout the day with your permission. It helps ease any anxiety or uncertainty that a parent may have.I also appreciate how Country Hills have an on campus playground, splash pad, and garden. Country Hills Montessori checked so many boxes that I was looking for in a school, and so much more. I am so grateful for the staff and the school.
