Posted by a parent on 4/8/2018We've been at Lanigan for 2 years now, the experience we have had has been pretty positive, I do believe the teachers and staff do the best they can. They offer programs, clubs, etc. to keep the students actively involved and frankly show that they do matter and everyone is paying attention to them. My experience with the teachers I have had the privilege to work with has been a pleasure. My daughter seems to like going there (I ask her quite often) and pretty much get a genuine "good" from her. So all in all we are happy with the traditional school setting Lanigan has to offer and look forward to the other new things they will bring to us in the future!

Posted by a community member on 5/18/2016My kids thrived here. Mr. Kauffman is one of the greatest Principals you'll ever meet. He is truly committed to the students and expects excellence from his staff. Take all test scores with a grain of salt. Learning begins and ends in the home. If a student doesn't live in a household that nurtures learning, even the greatest school in the world can't help them. There are also a lot of recent immigrants in the neighborhood, so I'm sure that language is an issue in those households. Farmington Hills is one of the greatest school districts in the State.
Posted by a parent on 3/22/2015Our son Studied in Lanigan for 3yrs and there's no doubt he was provided with an awesome education by Mrs.Irwin,Mrs.Todorrov and Mrs.Lelek.He's now in 7th grade in a Lutheran private school and is doing great...As a parent I volunteered in the classroom and enjoyed very much.. Thaks Lanigan Elementary..

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCountry Hills Montessori is such an amazing school. Ms. Tanya and her staff are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. My son had speech delay, and the patience, support, positive affirmation that he received was great. He is thriving, and language is his favorite subject in school now. Country Hills provided education in various ways, and they have many different in school field trips that are creative and educational. The safety and health that Country Hills Montessori provide is wonderful and proficient. There are sinks in the classroom which i appreciate, because the children are taught the importance of good hygiene. They are also responsible for cleaning up after themselves, which teaches them organization skills as well. I appreciate the safety and security that the school has for the students and parents. The use of the brightwheel app allows the staff to communicate with parents immediately, and send pictures of your child to you throughout the day with your permission. It helps ease any anxiety or uncertainty that a parent may have.I also appreciate how Country Hills have an on campus playground, splash pad, and garden. Country Hills Montessori checked so many boxes that I was looking for in a school, and so much more. I am so grateful for the staff and the school. It is truly the best school that I know of, and I highly recommend it to any parent that want their child to grow, learn, and develop be very safe environment.Parent Review1y ago - Bais Menachem Academy
