Posted by a parent on 11/30/2020I am a product St. John's. I attended 2nd-8th grades. This is an excellent school. The teachers were awesome. I received my foundation at this school. After St. John's I went on to graduate from Cass Tech, Specs Howard. I am now an employee for the IRS. Thanks to the staff and Pastor of St. John's.

I love the teachers there because they take their time into helping students that are struggling. My son has improved quickly with his reading and spelling. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children enrolled here and my experiences vary...Mcdonald elementary is excellent for preschool and kindergarten but beyond that it really falls short. My 7 year old's teacher recommended we medicate my child because he is to active. It really sounds like the teacher is completely overwhelmed and dulling down a child makes for an easier day.
