Read what parents are saying about Stout Middle SchoolThe staff is awesome and stout is a great school.
Posted by a community member on 7/12/2022Stout is a wonderful school with a great learning environment. The teachers are connected with the students and are vested in their learning and growth as individuals. My third child is now going there. My first two are both a success is high school--academically and socially-and I attribute a lot to the foundation that they received at Stout. Those who complain need to reevaluate what their child needs and not necessarily blame the schools but look in the mirror. It really does take a lot of parent involvement to create a partnership with the schools to have a productive student.
Posted by a parent on 11/18/2013While Stout has some problems, this parent sounds like someone who did not get their way on some issue. Maybe it is their child that fits all the ranting that he/she did and was suspended so they want to be vindictive. There are some wonderful teachers who truly care about students. The school has the best technology in the district (7 computer labs, white boards in every class, 3 iPad carts). The facilities are top notch. Could some things be better? Certainly, but it does not diminish the fact that it is a good school.
Posted by a parent on 11/17/2013My son went here for 6th grade and it is TERRIFIC oops! what i meant was it is TERRIBLE,HORRIBLE,AND SUCKS.They never call me,dont teach every subject every day, students have inappropriate language, bad behavior, and always gets suspended.there is always fights, students bully the teachers, teachers have no control of the students because students talk back and do not listen, barely any learning takes place, and no parent conferences about how your children are doing.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my 10th year as a parent at this school. And while it has had its moments of moments of failure, the new principal, Mrs. Hammoud has turned this school right around. She has done amazing things for morale and is well experienced with special needs students. This is the best the school has been in a number of years!Parent Review5mo ago - Bedford School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall there is not much to complain about. My kids are all almost done here and have made great memories and learned lots! They luckily (to my knowledge) weren't bullied, didn't get in fights or get beat up by any other kids. Great job teachers and staff at Bedford elementary school!!Parent Review4y ago - Polk Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you & your child/children enjoy changing elementary schools every other year then this is the district for you. These elementary schools housing only 2 grades each are all overcrowded! Teachers aren't miracle workers they can only work with what they're dealt..Not mention lack of pay raises for them in at least 5 yrs according to an individual in the city council. I have 3 children who left Dearborn school district with great scores in all state testing to moving to this district..my 3 kids in Dearborn heights district currently with a large decrease in scoring & lack of motivation to do homework, to not even wanting to go school some days..its sad. Apparently, there is no say in anything relating to the school district or the way its ran by parents, or the actual tax payers (homeowners, actual city residents) so i am looking to send my children elsewhere.Parent Review7y ago - Emmanuel Lutheran
