Read what parents are saying about Tenniswood Elementary SchoolI was so sad to leave this school when we moved. From my son's first day of kindergarten until they day we left we had positive outstanding experiences from the teachers, front office and sacc. My kids loved going here and still miss it dearly. This school does a wonderful job of helping every child excel and feel like they are a part of something special.
Posted by a parent on 2/8/2024The school is good. I feel comfortable having my child there.
Posted by a parent on 2/23/2018A staff dedicated to building positive relationships with every child and family. A beautiful science lab, Smartboards in every classroom...students get an education that is second to none.
Posted by a teacher on 6/21/2014If you want your child to bullied, then send them to Tenniswood elementary. My son was bullied on the bus, so I put him in sacc. Today my thrid grader was pinned down by 3 fifth graders and the principal sends me a note saying he will be suspended. There is a month left of school and I am switching.
Posted by a parent on 4/19/2013I love Tenniswood Elementary... My husband & I went there. We were in the same Kindergarten class! Now I am happy to share the school with my children. I love the Teachers, the Principal... Overall, Love it..

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s been a very negative experience from the office staff and principle telling my child they don’t care what he has to say to the social worker trying to talk us out of an IEP for 30 minutes saying it’s a disservice and how my child wouldn’t graduate like the average student. To my young nest somehow getting out of the school 3 times to them threatening to call the police because we refused for them to call a crisis unit due to their lack of supervision. They constantly get suspended or sent home when they don’t want to deal with them. The principle kept encouraging me to pull my son because he wasn’t ready for school and how it wasn’t legally required until he was 6. It truly has been a very negative and traumatic experience for my whole family. Both of my children have medically diagnosed issues & they did not care or take those into account.Other Review10mo ago - Marie C. Graham Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was awful. I received very little communication about my children's progress in class. There appeared to be a lot of behavior issues-my kids would come home and tell me stories about children who were causing problems in the building. We were there for a year and I pulled them out. I would not recommend this school.Parent Review2y ago - Donald J. Yacks Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 3 kids that all attend school here, and have since they were little. Its been wonderful to see them grow along with their peers, there are many events throughout the year that really connect you to other parents and families and really build that sense of community that I don't think you get at public schools.Parent Review5y ago - St Luke Lutheran Church & School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here in the 2000s. Worst experience of my life. I was punished for things that didn’t require punishment, or at least not to that extent. Some of the teachers were okay, but the school admin was more concerned about controlling us than teaching us. I hated this place so much.Other Review1y ago
