4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNever been to a school that openly discriminates against kids and their parents until my child started attending this failing school last fall. Front office staff have said numerous racially biased comments to the point i have to report it to the school board because the principle will try to dismiss the comments that even the board says were inappropriate. This school doesnt even acknowledge the federally celebrated month of February with ANYTHING but they have a lesson teaching my child about the fake holocaust numbers ontop they celebrated st Patrick's day with multiple events even though only 1% of the kids there are even irish but no bhm even though 40% of the kids are of African descent. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son loves school and learning and is ready to go each day but he has been asking about switching schools only because he feels targeted. Lots of his friends have left the school, as well as there has been a whole turn around in staff! Which makes you think what is going on at lakeshore district? The principal has tried to take my son’s safety job away without a write up or warning, my son was being inappropriately harassed and my word wasn’t enough to keep him away, he wanted to hear from my son.
