I have lived in Byron for 3 years and I really like the elementary school my oldest is starting middle school this fall. Yes their are a couple of the staff that need to be replaced but you can get that at any school you go to. I really like Byron Elementary and I don't see me having a problem

Most of the school staff and teachers need to be replaced. The school doesn't give you the feeling that they want to help your child, but rather push them through because they are too lazy to help. The special education program is a joke and a wast of tax payers money. They do have a few good teache

Most the teachers are fine, the kids are ok, the food is poor, and the principal is unfair and even made up a rule, well, atleast as my son said, I checked the handbook after the principal had called and brought up the rule, It was my son was selling soda to some other kids and they gave him an ISS after claiming it’s in the rules that he can’t, the rules brought up a rule that the actual schools couldn’t sell, as in staff, not that a student couldn’t. Also apparently there is a violent special needs child that isn’t punished due to his disability, but I believe when he attacks another student it should be considered a danger to the others.
