Great school with dedicated teachers. My son got a great education and is now thriving at the University of Michigan.

Disappointing education that did not prepare me for college. 90% of teachers only seem to be there for the paycheck and hate being challenged. Academics take a back seat to athletics. Close-minded school district.

My aunts and uncles went here. My mom. My brother and I. I read these reviews now, about athletics taking precedent, the good 'ol boy network, and then I read mlive about the retire-rehire scandals, the money that went missing after the last passed millage... and I want to cry. Our children have been in Columbia Schools for 3 years now. We have been more than pleased with how quickly our children have developed. It is amazing to see how quickly they can learn when in the right environment. There literally has not been 1 single day that they weren't excited to go to school, and we are extremely grateful for that!
