The school is good relatively. They have AP and Honors classes. They do offer help with students who are failing. There is college help, and most staff are amazing
Posted by a student on 1/15/2026This school definitely plays favorites with students. Does not offer many options for classes. AP is nonexistent here. There isnt even a library. Huge lack of sports and things for kids to be involved in. And ZERO guidance for college.
Posted by a parent on 8/31/2025This school is awful. Do NOT send your kids here. Bridgeport is a prison and your children will not learn what they need to. This school is a glorified daycare. The teachers can't teach and the grading system makes no sense. I'm so glad I'm a senior and graduating.
Posted by a student on 2/24/2014I've attended this school all four of my years and it gets worse as it progresses. The Principle, teachers, and dean of students have went mad with power and limit everything kids do. They take away so many things for minor infractions against them.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids went to Spa last year and are returning. They did extremely well. They struggled til they got to the school. The teachers they had were fantastic. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible School. Looking for other schools closer to me at the moment. Faculty doesn't care about the kids. The ladies in the office talk bad about the parents of the students. My son was bullied and told they didn't see it so there's nothing they can do. Last year the gym teacher SHOVED my son. They've left him outside by himself no supervision TWICE. And just yesterday they put him on the wrong but and didn't know what to tell me. This is a school is not safe for kids.
