Bloomfield Hills Middle School

I want to put in a good word for an aide who works there. Her name is Aleka and it's very clear she has a love for what she's doing - helping and encouraging young children. It's truly a delight to see her in action!

I absolutely love the school. Coming from a private Catholic school, which was a complete nightmare, Bloomfield Christian school has made my kids absolutely happy. We are happy to be there and we love the curriculum. My kids have thrived and I will continue to send my kids to the school. I wish more families knew about it.

This school is a pretty good school the teachers are kind and each of them has a unique way of teaching. The school is well organized and has tons of events for students to enjoy. There is also a Umatter week to support our students the counselor has made a big difference to this school and hopefully, the school will grow. The students there are kind of just a small issue with bullying. Overall this is a great school definitely recommend

The teachers are caring and wonderful. The education is great if your child wants to learn and pays attention. Sadly the parents are very clicky, any great review is because they are part of it. There are ways to reach that status but its never enough if they don't want you in their circle. It’s true parents talk about the kids and their parent which in turn makes the child unpopular. The assistant principle has tried to bring the kids together and has tried to make the disruptive kids accountable, but the parents (the special families) are outraged instead of working with the school and educate the kids to be respectful to adults and their peers. They cannot and will not accept any wrong doing. It is disheartening! New kids don't usually come back after their first year. Its not about not living in the area, we live in Quarton Estates,Birmingham and donate generously. Many of these horrible parents are my neighbors and have never ever included my child for anything to help her fit in. At school parents that volunteer care for their own first and then the others. If you say anything or call them out, they will shun you, and they make it worse. Most of them will go to Marian, good luck, these girls are viciously mean. Its a strong community, a community of bullies. Many of these families are moving on, but I pray that the meanness mitigates, it really has potential to be a great happy school.

Extraordinary and exceptional. We have two students in the lower school, and could not be more impressed with the faculty, caliber or students and welcoming nature of the community. We chose Cranbrook over the other local private and public schools, after a lengthy and thorough series of tours and assessments, and couldn’t be happier with our decision(s). Our children are thriving academically and socially. Even during COVID lockdown the school provided more SAFE opportunities for in person education than others, and now as we return to more regular times the school is continuing to amaze us with the opportunities to thrive offered to the children. And the facilities and campus are picturesque. Like Hogwarts !
