Read what parents are saying about Fair Plain Middle SchoolHave had lots of racial issues with the teachers out of all people. I would not suggest this school if you have white or mixed kids. School strongly supports only one color.
Posted by a parent on 9/19/2017The Arts and Communications Academy in my opinion remains as the best school in Benton Harbor Area Schools. The teachers are caring and has done a wonderful job with my children. They have a new, young and charismatic male principal that does a lot for his students. Although ACA is not the old CAA with their art programs I am still very much satisfied with the school. As a parent I recommend sending your child to ACA you will not be disappointed.
Posted by a parent on 8/16/2015Im a student attending caa/gt all I can say is its an awesome school! I've been going to caa/gt since i was in kindergarten and now im in 6th and i have never thought of going to a different shool. I love how this school teaches us more than just the basic subjects, such as our ats classes, which also help wth teaching our core democratic values.whatever we're learning in our regular classes we always tie it in some way with our arts classes. But we cant do anything without our great parent and teacher support. Our teachers are awesome and never leave a child behind. This school is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLake Michigan Catholic MEAPS (Michigan Educational Assessment Program) tend to be the highest in the entire county in almost every grade from elementary to high school, and nearly every subject (including comparisons to public schools). The class of 2016 has an average ACT score of 25.5. More importantly, LMC delivers mature young adults that are well equipped to take the next steps in their lives and in society.Student Review6y ago - St. Matthew S Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been here for two years. She is now 4 and just graduated preschool! I originally had her in Tri County and it was horrible. Sure, it was free but she didn't learn anything and they refused to teach her anything new because she was 3 and was "too far ahead of the 4 year olds." She was also cursing and fighting which were things she never did before she went there. Never had this issue with St. Matthew's. Yes, we had to pay and provide our own food but it was worth it! She can write her full name (and names of her classmates), all the letters of the alphabet, she knows her numbers and even some math and sight words! Her vocabulary has increased as well. She is doing the 1st grade workbooks from the stores now because the Kindergarten ones are too easy. They also learn about God and about being a good person. She has become so concerned about being a good person and treating people well that it amazes me. She loves going to school every day, and comes home and goes straight to sleep! She gets plenty of exercise and she is always engaged. I kind of wish they did nap time, but she makes it through the whole day without one. Also, they clean every day. She hardly ever catches a cold. Every evening when I pick her up I can smell the bleach and see them cleaning toys, tables, and dishes.Other Review8y ago - Brookview School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe feel so lucky to have found Brookview. We joined the Brookview community in the fall, when covid was making us very nervous about sending our kids back to school, and we’ve never had second thoughts. Our kids have both been safe throughout the year and we’ve been so grateful for the care and diligence the teachers and staff have shown. Both of our kids are thriving socially and academically and come home very happy each day. Brookview is exactly what we’ve been looking for and we’re so lucky to have such a wonderful school in our community.Parent Review3y ago - Trinity Lutheran School
