Allendale High School

I have been involved closely with this school and their staff for the last 10 years, and I have never had a negative experience.

We are so happy with our decision to send our children to Allendale Christian. The preschool classes have been exactly what we wanted — time for our kids to play with others and more importantly, learning more about how much Jesus loves them. We have been so happy with the school, the administration, and the teachers. The teachers our children have had truly love every student and pour their hearts into them every day. We highly recommend ACS’s Nature Based preschool option! When learning about God and His Creation, our child got to learn and explore His Creation right in the outdoor classroom and in “The Great Beyond.” Learning about God creating the trees and animals, and then being able to find those creations in the Outdoor Classroom is irreplaceable. Such a great program for a preschooler to get out and enjoy nature. The Kindergarten class options have been great too, being able to choose what class works best for our schedule, and we’re excited to utilize the Transitional Kindergarten, too! The facilities at Allendale Christian are top notch, and they’ve added a new addition over this last summer which allows for even more families to join this amazing community. We’ve been so pleased with the administration and the direction their guiding this school. With so much going on in the world, we are happy and can rest easy knowing that our children are getting a fantastic education that is Christ-centered and Biblically sound.

The staff and teachers are amazing here. My daughter could only write a few letters after bring in daycare, for a few years and pulled out during Covid. With IN A Few weeks SHE can write her name and verbally spell it. I CHOSE Allendale via school of choice and now prefer it over the Grand Rapids Schools. MY daughter loves hoe the principal greets everyone by the busses and waves to the cars coming in. He's very open and helpful for those days when your Littles are just clinging a little to much in the morning. He sends them videos of him reading on Sundays and sings to them as the busses come to get them from school. Wonderful loving environment, and they're very hands on with the students in the community as well.
