My daughter is a seventh grade student at mattawoman, she has been through SEVERAL issues, and it has been as if the blame was put on her. she has gained depression, and anxiety due to this school. since those two high schoolers broke in, she has been scared to even walk down the band hallway. this
Posted by a parent on 6/4/2025it’s a horrible school it gave my child really bad depression the school is very dirty and disgusting. My child has mentioned there were cockroaches everywhere. He also mentioned he had a horrible experience with many teachers and staff members.
Posted by a community member on 6/4/2025When I worked at Mattawoman this school I was a counselor for the 8th grade students, the teachers were horrible towards students not acknowledging how smart and brilliant they truly were the hallways and classes were horrid to be in as the smell was terrible and the environment is all around really

I know that sounds weird people always say "I hate school" "ah wanna go to school". That was me but now I like going to school. It's my social life, yes ok I don't like something's things about school like work
