former student at this school, i am now in sixth grade. when i was in 5th, i had multiple girls try to fight me. i had gone to the hospital twice in one school year because no one would do anything. i was bullied and slammed into lockers or beat up on a daily.

The lack of competence both intellectual and cultural on their part is absolutely unacceptable. We parents need to come together stand up and demand better for their children. Teache
Posted by a parent on 7/12/2018we've been very disappointed with Pot Spring, largely because of the lack of leadership from the principal and her uncaring attitude. she's ineffective and I really have no idea how someone so clearly unsuited to the position of school principal is in this job. it's a huge disservice to the teachers

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who attend Hampton Elementary and I think it is a fine school. Mr. Conway is an excellent principal - he works hard to engage families and staff and promotes a positive learning environment. One of my children has special needs and the school has worked hard to meet his needs. IEP meetings are held regularly and he receives the services he is supposed to receive per his IEP. I haven't seen the bullying issues someone else reported. The school has an active PTA which holds lots of activities for students and families. Teachers and staff are supportive and organized to provide the best learning environment, providing great communication to parents. Demographic student population represents the real world. Many fun activities throughout the yr and the BEST PTO who plan other fun events. Brand new playground. If you are hesitant from past years reviews and the online "rating", don't be.
