Suitland Elementary School

I would rate my experience at this school, on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, a 2

My child was bullied from day one at this school! Teachers, Guidance counselors nor principle did anything to stop it! Kids are killing themselves these days over being bullied. This HAS TO BE ADDRESSED!!!!! I am currently looking into putting my child into a new school! My child fought me everyday to go to school! I hate that my child felt that way. They need to come out with a solution for bulling! This is a serious issue!

This school is a great school it teaches all people and is so helpful for people new to language art, math, reading, geography, science, and all other subjects. I think it's the best school.

5 stars!!! Great experience so far. Even dealing with distance learning during Covid-19.

They need qualified teachers that respect children and parents.

This school is terrible in almost every aspect. What ever efforts that have been made to make it at least a functional school are thwarted by students and parent who have no real value of education. The administration has put up a good effort but know they are in a losing battle. It's really sad when you have to say a large part of the falure of this school is due to the people it trys to serves. community blame not the educators blame your self. To many of your kids are not there to learn and you know it. Yet you blame the educators . I hope during covid your children destroyed your homes the way they destroyed their school's.

I used to be a student who attended Samuel P. Massie Academy since kindergarten. When I was in the school, In my opinion at least I felt like it was progressively getting worse throughout the years. The fighting and the lack of communication between students and the administrative office or just with the office and how they treated my mother. I have since left the school and have moved on to better things. One of my close family members attends this school still while it is under a new principle and things from what I hear are okay but could be better. I don't try and don't want to down play the school because it has lots of benefits and has taught me great lessons that I know use in middle school. Sending your child here could be a 50/50 of greatness or of drama and a lot of other things. I thank this school for the things they have taught me in the past but I don't appreciate the drama, disrespect, bullying, fighting that has happened before.
