2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school needs harsher punishment there are students who can get into fights and not even get expelled. They can come back from their check in check out with a bag full of snacks for doing the bare minimum and they can get away with alot of things like insulting the other students. They sometimes need more than 2 adults to hold someone back from getting into a fight. Its not fair to the other students that are doing well and behaving when they see someone who does that come back with rewards for doing the mare minimum. even one of the teachers said if someone in their childs school behaved this way they wouldve called 911.Parent Review1y ago - Fullerton Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers have a genuine passion for the kids. We have loved every teacher! The school would benefit from actual classrooms versus section opened space but BCPS needs to work on that.Parent Review1y ago - Mccormick Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has a music teacher that yells at the kids all day like he hates his jobs and all of the kids complain about him not sure how he’s still a teacher. This school is one sided and offer any help to the kids that is being bullied by other kids and they don’t hold all parties accountable. I really don’t trust this school and I don’t plan on keeping my kids enrolled for long.Parent Review5mo ago - Red House Run Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my time at this school, I've had a generally decent experience. One aspect I believe could be improved is the need for a more diverse staff, ensuring better representation of the student body. This would contribute significantly to fostering a more inclusive and enriching learning environment.Other Review2mo ago - Shady Spring Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was very happy with the teachers, and my son learned a lot in kindergarten and half the year in 1st grade before we moved. The problem was most of the parents were not involved. At our bus stop with 20 kids there were only 2 or 3 parents and the kids often got in fights and talked back to the adults and damaged people's property. When we transferred my son to Mays Chapel Elementary his behavior transformed. He stopped behaving aggressively and talking back and he said he can learn because there is no fighting there.Parent Review3y ago - Baltimore White Marsh Adventist School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI like the low student to teacher ratio. The new Principal and staff are really nice. My son is already reading and he's only in the pre-K program.Parent Review6y ago - Mount Pleasant Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is a treasure. The pandemic was difficult for every school system because no one was prepared for virtual learning. Mt.Pleasant suffered some bumps in the road but their students were still successful learners. No student was passed on because of the situation. The school's high academic standards were upheld. Their slogan says it all: "Awakening the genius in each child".Parent Review2y ago - Rosedale Baptist School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am sad to write this but i am telling not one lie. This school is more concerned about money. As a school calling themselves Christian,i dont see it. I have had to make complaints about a teacher not teaching about Bible Class not using Bibles. My daughter told me a little boy used racial slurs in class nothing happened. There was a fight in hallway nothing happened.Lots of bullying happening here and nothing happens. Tuition keeps increasing.6th and 7th grades take no trips, they had no field day or end of year activities. There is no pta type group, only 1 parent teacher night the whole school year.I dont feel like my voice is heard even though i am a paying parent, this will be my child last year hereParent Review2mo ago
