Read what parents are saying about Christ Episcopal SchoolAs the new priest here at Christ Episcopal Parish I have a unique perspective of this amazing educational experience. Christ Episcopal School not only offers an outstanding education, but engages and encourages all students in the appreciation of learning and caring for others. The small class size offers in depth interpersonal activity and a natural appeal to participate in activities. Fantastic School!
Posted by a community member on 3/26/2024I have been pleased with my son’s experience at Christ Episcopal School. The academics are solid and there is a focus on building character and community. A small student-teacher ratio ensures that students get individualized attention and support when needed. The faculty and staff here are engaged and care about students’ success and well-being.
Posted by a parent on 12/1/2023We recently enrolled our daughter in the preschool program at Christ Episcopal School in Rockville, Maryland, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. The school offers a nurturing and engaging environment that has significantly contributed to her love for learning. The teachers are incredibly caring and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure each child feels valued and supported. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to stimulate curiosity and creativity, perfectly blending educational activities with fun. We’re particularly impressed with the emphasis on developing both academic and social skills, preparing children for their future educational journey. It’s heartwarming to see our daughter so excited about going to school each day. We highly recommend Christ Episcopal School to any parents considering a preschool for their child. It’s a place where young minds are cherished and encouraged to grow.
Posted by a parent on 11/16/2023CES truly is a special place. The teachers and staff are caring, devoted and accessible. The core academic curriculum is strong, while still allowing plenty of opportunity for arts, recess/outdoor time and life skills. One of the most appealing aspects for us is the close community. We love being a part of this amazing school family and our kids are thriving here. We have experienced the school from preschool through middle school and highly recommend it!
Posted by a parent on 11/15/2023We have been involved with CES for the past 7 years. We were drawn to the school because of its community feel, friendly admissions, and small class size. And also the convenient location. The students are all friends, regardless of grade and so, are the parents. We love that chapel is a part of their weekly schedule. The school is affordable. The teachers are approachable. And there are many opportunities for leadership for the kids. The staff/parent communication is awesome and there are many opportunities for parents to be involved with the school. The musicals are also a blast as well as the many school lead activites. The academic curriculum is manageable and the school supports diverse learning styles.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at this school who are polar opposites when it comes to needs. One is naturally high achieving and never disruptive. The other has significant ADHD, an IEP, and is extremely disruptive. We have worked closely with the school over the past 5 years to ensure my kids' needs are met. I have gotten to know many teachers and staff and especially the principal, Mrs. Rogovoy. Let me first say that, even for Montgomery county, like most public schools in this country, they don’t have enough resources to meet their needs. They do an amazing job with the resources they have. Mrs. Rogovoy is an amazing principal, and I have seen her handle many challenging situations with such grace and diplomacy. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude and respect for her and the school is what it is because of her. There is a range of quality in terms of teachers and staff. They have some truly amazing teachers that have worked with my ADHD kid in an amazing way. The IEP team is excellent and they have come up with creative interventions and implemented them. My kid is succeeding because of their incredible love and support. My high achieving kid has been placed with some less impressive teachers, but this kid doesn't need a lot, so has been fine. It's is important to recognize that there is a shortage of teachers in general so they are working with what they have. The classroom sizes are too large and there are too many kids who need more attention that the teachers just don't have to give them. This is not the school's fault. It's a systemic problem that affects every city in this country. The staff are mostly amazing. They are loving and kind when my child expresses a need. Anytime we have expressed a concern over something, Mrs. Rogovoy has addressed it immediately. The school is also safe. While there have been a few unusual incidents, they are minimal and were handled quickly and well. Bullying is minimal, if it exists at all. I had one instance where my kid was targeted and it was quashed immediately. I have many connections to the school and bullying is not a problem that exists here in my experience. Generally speaking, the school is very child-centered in their approach and is excellent overall. I can't recommend it enough.Parent Review6mo ago - Fallsmead Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school teachers use an app called ClassDoJo in order to communicate with parents. The MH PTA is very strong and supportive. Bus drivers are always on time, and breakfast is for free no matter the income. Lunch is $2.55 with no Gov support etc., which is very inexpensive, teacher/student ratio is very low as well. No complaints on my end.Parent Review4mo ago - Beall Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood school overall, with great teachers and staff, although some kids degrade the overall education. Bullying is a problem that teachers claim to fix but do not. There are slurs being uddered in the halls and outside and nobody stops them. The teachers completely slow down and stop the class for some of the kids who don't pay attention and degrades the time for the advanced and gifted kids who are sentenced to the very low standards of their counterparts. There is incredibly little to no homework whatsoever, making it very difficult to remember and commit to memory difficult topics learned that day.Other Review2y ago - Redwood Montessori Academy
