A great elementary school and launching ground for kids.

worst school. please please do not put your kid into this school. the school doesn't provide help for kids that actually need it and don't listen to the kids at all. this is a Muslim school and you are failing to show that. there are so many complaints on the principal, on the teachers. I heard only 1 good teacher in this school. there was a teacher who cussed at a student, and made his students take attendance without DOING IT, which is his job. the education might be good if your kid wants to be stressed everyday and never free and gets unmotivated. barely any time to do the homework and there is so much homework even starting from a lower grade. I don't know what makes you think cramping up homework and giving it to young and old students is a good idea. are you dumb? do not put your children in here and the tuition is just baffling. I get you're poor but you are not using the money the right way. I hope Allah forgives you and your school gets shut down.

Now in our third year at Harbor the kids are thriving thanks to a caring community. My child loves to read, is excelling at math and curious about arts and technology thanks to wonderful teachers!

I have some concerns about my child's school. Although the school has a good academic record, I have noticed that it has become more focused on promoting LGBT issues. As a result, I feel that the school is not taking into account the feelings of other families, especially those with younger children.I am not sure why the school is discussing LGBT issues with elementary school students. For instance, during October, my child was asked to write about acceptance and listen to a story about having two dads or two moms. In April, they were required to wear purple and again listen to a story about LGBT issues. Furthermore, parents are not informed about such activities taking place at school.I believe that it is not appropriate to talk about sexuality with elementary school children. When I was in elementary school, I did not even know what sexuality was. We do not have a problem with what people do in their homes, and we want our kids to be kids. I believe that this is too much, and the school should focus on more age-appropriate topics.

Saint Raphael’s Elementary is truly special. The intimate setting of one class per grade creates a tight-knit community where every child is known and valued.The families here are exceptional—warm, involved, and genuinely supportive. We’re a liberal family, and I want to emphasize: you don’t need to be intensely Catholic (or Catholic at all!) to feel welcome and happy here. The community is inclusive and focused on values we can all share.The teaching staff is outstanding, with many long-tenured educators whose experience and commitment shine through daily. When adjustments are needed, the administration acts quickly and thoughtfully.If you’re looking for a school where your child won’t get lost in the crowd, where teachers truly invest in their students, and where community matters, Saint Raphael’s is it. We couldn’t be happier!
