2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe current administration is abysmal. Teachers are unsupported and afraid to say anything for fear of reprisals. There is fighting daily in the lunch room which remains largely unsupervised. Bullying is a huge issue that goes largely unaddressed by the administration, affects numerous kids, and teachers are left unsupported to do the best they can. Safety plans have been drawn up with no intention of actually implementing or following them.The current principal (Moore — in case this hopefully changes in the future) is more concerned with attendance and receiving her federal dollars than she is about supporting her staff, or protecting and educating kids.The school board needs to take immediate action as this school is failing its students and teachers.Parent Review6mo ago - Odenton Elementary School

This school has hired highly qualified teachers who care about the students in their class and go the extra mile to make sure all students feel included. Mrs. Alvear is the best principal ever and the school has great communication. The PTA raises enough money at their booster thon to make most school events, including dances, free for students. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Seven Oaks and we were very happy with the school. We went to several school events and enjoyed the Science Fair a great deal. They also did a great job with his speech therapy. My one critique is that arrival and dismissal can be a challenge, but that has a lot to do with a small parking lot.
